The Velocity explosion proof ZT-EXP-BG break glass Ex d manual call points feature a robust GRP enclosure with a 316 stainless steel mechanism and IP66/67 rating – manufactured for the harshest of hazardous environments. Globally approved to IECEx, ATEX, UL and cUL standard for all Z one 1, 2, 21 & 22 and Class I/II Div 2 installations.
Can also be specified for applications requiring compliance to the UL38 standard for Manual Signaling Boxes for Fire Alarm Systems or ULC-S528 Manual Stations for Fire Alarm Systems. SIL 2 compliant to IEC 61508 (2010)

The Velocity ZT-EXP-S/R is a high performance globally certified alarm horn sounder featuring a sound output of up to 115dB(A). The robust Type 4/4X, IP66 marine grade, corrosion proof aluminium enclosure is approved for Class I & II Div 1, Zone 1 & 20, IECEx and ATEX Zone 1, 2, 21 & 22 explosion proof signalling applications.
This 24Vdc version is EN54-3 EU, UK CPR, MED and MER compliant plus UL464 NFPA complaint for public mode fire alarm use. SIL1 & SIL2 Route 2H to IEC61508 (2010), with optional diagnostics for Route 1H SIL2 compliance

ZT-EXP-3000
The Velocity ZT-EXP-3000 is ideally suited for the protection of large areas, with potentially explosive atmospheres, against smoking fires. ZT-EXP-3000 comprises an infrared transmitter and a receiver, both of which are ATEX-certified for use in Group 2 hazardous areas. There is a separate, safe area, wall-mounted remote/low level control unit to allow adjustment and testing from a convenient non-hazardous location.
The product is designed for large enclosures within oil rigs, refineries, ordnance stores and similar premises. It provides an early warning of smouldering or strongly smoke-generative fires, which may not be picked up by flame detectors installed in many hazardous areas.
